Knowing how to allow a fresh start moment by moment is fundamental in our practice. Re-energizing and re-orienting in the direction of what we care about most puts us back on a path of healing action for ourselves, each other and our world. But when we feel stuck, whether with deep stress in our life or just with tired out repetitious, mundane habits, this beginning anew can feel hard to find.
In this retreat, we will practice together many ways of accessing a new beginning moment by moment— ways which we can carry forward into the whole of our life.
This retreat is appropriate for both beginning and experienced meditators. We will spend time with movement meditations, primarily guided meditations with some silence. Practice will also include sitting and lying down, reflective practices, and time to share together as is right for you. All of the practices will be appropriate for anybody with plenty of room for taking care of your body's needs with what feels best for you.
We hope you can join us as we explore this powerful reset opportunity of Beginning Again.
This retreat will be offered by donation to help support Charlotte Center for Mindfulness’ new beginning in both a new home and new ways of opening and growing. Please consider giving generously as you are able in support of our mission of growing better access and availability of mindfulness as a resource for all.

“Sometimes, you hear a voice through the door calling you,
as fish out of water hear the waves,
as the hunting falcon hears the drums.
Come back, come back.
Turning toward what you deeply love saves you.”

Charlotte Center for Mindfulness hosts community retreats throughout the year. They are an opportunity to practice and connect in community, through mindfulness. They also support our fundraising efforts (donations are encouraged, but not required). Retreats are led by CCM teachers and are suitable for beginners and experienced mindfulness practitioners. Most retreats last from 2-3 hours.
